ILL 1.1 Definitions

1.1.1       Interloan.

An item loaned from one Lakeland member library to another.

1.1.2       Superloan.

An item borrowed from, or loaned to, a Lakeland non-member library.

ILL 1.2 Participation in Interlibrary Loan

All Lakeland member libraries will participate in interlibrary lending, and  all member libraries are encouraged to participate fully in interloan by permitting the lending of all circulating materials.  All member libraries are encouraged to make their books available for superloan to libraries outside Lakeland.
