ILL 4.1 Correctional Facilities

Lakeland will continue to lend books to correctional facilities in good standing within Lakeland’s boundaries under the program begun as a part of Lakenet.

4.1.1       This program covers the lending of books only.

4.1.2       Correctional facilities will pay $1.00 per item borrowed.

4.1.3       Only books owned by Lakeland members will be loaned (i.e.: no superloans).

4.1.4       Lakeland will bill the  correctional facility for lost books on a monthly basis, with the money to be turned over to the library owning the material.

4.1.5       Good standing for correctional facilities shall be defined as outstanding bills of $100 or less, with balances paid in full on at least a quarterly basis.

4.1.6       Correctional facilities will not be charged overdue fines.
